For really fun and playful photos Angela & Matt decided upon hiring me to get some Deep Ellum couple portraits done here in Dallas, Texas.
Angela Conway, a high school friend of mine, has been dating Matt Fowler for a while now and wanted to get some Deep Ellum couple portraits done of them together. I was excited and honored that they asked me to take the photos for them. We decided Deep Ellum in Dallas would be an excellent location for some fun and natural portraits that were also playful.
Incorporating the famous Traveling Man sculpture was a bit challenging at first because of its massive height. Since its such an icon of Deep Ellum we had to include it in some of photos. The Traveling Man is such an awesome sculpture and trying to capture a photo of Angela and Matt along with it was fun. After trying out several different angles I was able to get this one that they thought turned out really well.
Here is the huge Deep Ellum wall that everyone loves to get photos with which incorporates many of Dallas’ icons within its letters. All the colors made for a very colorful and interesting panorama photo.
For these last couple photos I had them just play around on the sculpture like they were kids back in high school.
